Southern Comfort Farm is located in Armuchee, Georgia just north of Rome, GA. Nestled in the hills behind Berry College; the farm is approximately 200 acres. It includes private paddocks, large pastures, and wooded mountain trails. SCF offers full board, training, sale horses, lessons, and clinics.

The barn has 16 solid stalls with grill fronts and sliding doors. There are 14 12x12 ft. and 2 12x16 ft. stalls available. The barn also has a hot/cold wash rack, restroom with shower, tack room, and separate feed and hay storage areas. High ceilings allow for wonderful ventilation. |

There is also a 200x80 ft. indoor riding arena attached to the barn with excellent sand footing which is regularly watered. Sky lights allow good lighting by day and overhead lights in the arena allow good lighting at night. Outside there is a recently resurfaced large dressage arena (20x60 m.). |

The outdoor grass jumping area is fenced in and has a brick wall, brush boxes, and roll top jumps. There are also some small cross-country fences in one of the large pastures. Plenty of mountain trails offer wonderful opportunities for both relaxation and conditioning. |

The owner, Carolyn P. Wright, has been competing in USEA's Area III for the last 15 years, while consistently producing solid event horses for resale. She brought her own Michael up through the levels to successfully compete at the Intermediate level. Currently, Carolyn is bringing along three young horses in eventing, all of which show great potential. She is also currently taking training horses. |
