Welcome to Wright Family Farm!

Wright Family Farm is a diversified family farm nestled in the foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains just outside of Rome, GA. Our Black Angus cattle and Katahdin sheep enjoy roaming on the farm’s lush open pastures year round. At Wright Family Farm we are committed to raising our livestock in harmony with nature.

To accomplish our goal of providing our customers with a local healthy food source, we use a grass rotation model to allow the animal’s access to good grazing. Unlike animals confined to a food lot, this method is healthy for the animals and it is healthy for the land as well. In continuing with our motto of farming nature’s way we also do not use pesticides, added growth hormones, or antibiotics. While we are not organically certified, in most cases we are beyond organic in our farming and animal husbandry practices. At Wright Family Farm, we take pride in our farm and the animals we work with every day.
